Life is Full Of Surprises.

Well, for your information (whether you care or not I'm gonna say it anyway mwuahahaha) today is my birthday. ^^V

Hmmm.. I really don't know where to start..
O...K... Do you want the whole full detail on every single tiniest little thing or just skip to the main course?

I choose the latter one xP

On saturday night, we went Deric's house for CNY house visiting (aka "bai nin"). Then, as midnight approaches, everyone started to act in a wierd kind of way.

They stopped me on my way to the toilet.
Shoved me out of the house by sheer force.
Tried desperately to distract me.

e.g:

Me: I want to go toilet leh why pull me out?
Mun Yee: eh eh look! the moon is so bright today!!
Me: (didn't pay attention at her comment at first, but then I realised something.) Errr.... I don't think you can see the moon tonight.
Mun Yee: ooohhh.. neeeeeh the moon is there *points at nearby street light*
Me: That's a bloody lamp post la =.=


Then, while I was sitting outside the door and emo-ing because Mun Yee wont let me use the toilet, Val opened the door and let me in. Apparently the lights were not working, as its pitch-black in the house. Well, not really pitch-black actually, as the flame of eight small candles and another extra-fat candle on a cake with my name on it provided some light. Then, despite the fact that they do look like members of some secret organizations who plan conspiracy in a dark candle-lit room, they sang a birthday song for me!!!!!



OMG!!! I was really really really ultimately absolutely godly SURPRISED!!!



I mean, over these 18 years, no friend ever celebrated my birthday with, you know, a real birthday cake accompanied by a birthday song before (a note to deric, darwin, ken lee and the rest: a pack of condom is definitely not considered as a birthday cake okay XD)... Not to mention that they caught me completely off guard.. Why cant they just tell me that they were going to celebrate my birthday haha.. Spare me the heart attack..


I'm SOOOO surprised and touched that I really don't now what to do or how to react haha.. A bit stunned, you can say.. If someone played a really nice song in the background I might really cry..


Sheesh what am I talking about.. I am the iron man.. Strictly no tears allowed..


Thanks Deric, Val, Si Jie (sorry, I just cant familiarise myself with mel haha xP ), Sze Yinn, Lily, Jasmine, Mun Yee, Kin Ming, Andrew and everybody who were there that day..

And specially to those who planned this ( as far as I know, Deric and Val are involved.. and I suspect Si Jie too).. thanks thanks thanks a trillion!!! =)






Then on the next day,

I went out with Valerie, as Deric ffk-ed.


WOW! Isn't that a BIG surprise?
*clap clap*

Hahaha! When she said she was okay with going out with me alone like that, I have to admit I was thrilled and so, so, so happy!! (well, whats the odds that a person like me get to go out with a pretty girl? In fact I dont really think I actually went out with only a girl before!! OK ladies and gentlemen, the "pretty" part is actually slightly exaggerated. Ha-ha! Gotcha, Val!! Bet you DID perasan just now!! Bluek! =P )

When the excitement passed (okay I did felt a bit excited. Just a wee bit I swear. XD ) and logic kicks in.. I was like, "hmm wait a minute.. Unless she's drunk, I doubt Val would go out with a boy like that. Not to mention that the boy is me... hmmm.. *scratches chin*.. "

So I came out with 2 conclusion:
Possibility #1 : She's desperately in love with me that she did something that she normally wouldn't do. (I know I know.. I'm dreaming)
Possibility #2 : Something fishy is going on.

Considering the fact that the probability of the first possibility is... Ok let me put this in words.. It WONT happen unless the sun rise from the west and in the very same day Mars collides with Venus and at the same time the Sun explodes and ram all the nearby planets like a game of pinball and wiped out the entire human race as well as animals and plants and evaporates every single drop of water on earth. Get it?

So let me rephrase this : considering the fact that the probability of the first possibility is, whatever stated above, I placed all my money on the second possibility. I guessed that Deric will appear out of nowhere in the afternoon and say "yo!" with the thumb, index finger and small finger sticking out.

Oh well.. So I went to Mid Valley.. And joined Val.. Then we walk around (which in my opinion, aimlessly) in Jusco for some time..

Then!!!!
A malay girl who works at a counter in Jusco kinda stopped us and asked for our name. At first I thought maybe she was looking for a long lost twins of her, and judging by our appearances.. Hmmm..

After we proudly accounced our name.. The fella took out a nicely wrapped thing which looks like a box and wished me happy birthday!!! OMG!! I was like, "errr.. me? you serious?".. When we took off I walked a few steps and looked back at them and pointed at myself and asked them : "me?"

The person which firstly came into my mind was - Si Jie. She does gimme the kind of feeling that she would do this kind of stuffs. Haha! I was picturing her going to Mid Valley to drop the present before going to the temple which she said she was supposed to go for some opening ceremony thing, and asked the worker there to ask every single person who passed by for their names. HAHAHAHAHA!!

Then, somehow, out of nowhere, Val suggested to go MPH. She said she wanna buy some book.
Hmmmm.. Is this Val? lol. I thought books bore her to death. But the book she said she wanna buy is nice (I guess. I bought the book last month but havent read it yet haha.) so I thought maybe she is picking up reading as a hobby or something..

Then we walk walk walk walk around... and went to the CD area in MPH.. She asked me to ask the person sitting at yet another counter for a book named "How to get a Girlfriend in 10 days".
I was like, " err *looks at the nearest book - its a bible!! =.=* I think we should proceed to the customer service over there. I usually inquire about books there.."

Val : aiya.. ask here laaa
Me: huh? *bluur*

Eventually her patience ran out and she went to the mini counter to ask for the book. It was hilarious seriously.. Imagine Valerie walking to the counter and asks the guy over there: do you have a book called "How to get a girlfriend in 10 days?". Hahaah!!!

Guess what?
It's a code or something..
That guy handed me another gift.. A small box.. Nicely wrapped..
This is ridiculous!!! Why strangers keep giving me presents, as if they knew its my birthday?
I questioned Val but she just wont talk.. haha..

OK fine.. We went out and walked a while.. And suddenly Valerie suggested we go Secret Recipe for lunch (and apparently she doesnt even know where Secret Recipe is located. Next to MPH. LOL.) Wierd.. Usually when we go out, all of us were ALWAYS undecided about what to eat. Just suddenly. Secret Recipe.

Hmmm I thought she maybe wanna eat cake on my birthday or something like that..
So - fast forward - we found a place and sat down. Seriously, the waitress stared at me (almost rudely) and I kinda expected her to gimme yet another present or something like that and she was waiting for me to say the "magic word" like "Jun Yet" or "How to get a girlfriend in 10 days".

But oh well.. She walked away.. haha..

Deric called Valerie and she passed the phone to me.. He said that he was sorry because he was unable to come blah blah, and had to go to resume his taekwondo class or something..

The fact is, I was convinced by his speech as I sorta believed him that he was really unable to come.

As I started to reconsider Possibility #1,

Deric appeared!! with a slice of I-dont-know-what-it-is-but-it-sure-looks-disgusting thingy.. According to them its some kind of brownie ( I did finish it in the end). Eww. Oh wait, did i mention that theres a candle on the cake?

Haha!! they surprised me yet again!!!

And out of the corner of my eye I saw Si Jie laughing like a crazy woman gone mad after winning the first prize of the lottery.

Ha-ha. "Very, very funny." I told them.
Deep down inside : Why do you have to shatter my dreams and fantasy!! T.T
I was just going to tell myself that it may be Possibility #1 =.=

Hahaha!! After lunch the four of us actually planned to watch a movie.. But the queue.. It's just a pure steam cutter. So me and Deric went arcade for our dose of Time Crisis and the girls went somewhere else.. Then we all went to Sweet Chat and had a couple of sweet chats there.. lol..

Si Jie wanted to buy some clothes for her dinner tonight.. We went to some Nichii thingy at Sg. Besi (we sort of got lost on the way haha.. It was so funny when we had to keep doing U-turns at the same turns as Val asked her dad for direction).

To Si Jie : you dont need to feel bad for the "trouble".. seriously.. it's not really a big deal.. its fun!! haha ^^

Then, I drove them home and before Deric went out of the car, he asked me to open a plastic bag which the girls secretly placed on the back seat of the car when i got home.

*30 minutes later*

The bag contained 2 things:
A nice birthday card,
A photo frame with a photo we took that very day..



I just cant help but to smile at the sight of the wonderful and thoughtful presents.



Thanks a lot for giving me a memorable birthday.. Planned so much surprises for me..
All these years.. I never really felt that I was special and important to others.. Until hours ago.. ^^

Somehow I love to emo at home during my birthday haha.. So actually I didn't plan to celebrate my birthday with anybody. But they asked me out.. So.. To other people, please dont be offended because I didn't celebrate my birthday with you, nor be jealous because I have such nice and great friends!!! ^^V

I would definitely hug and kiss you three if Melissa is not in a relationship and Deric is a gay and Valerie doesn't mind.. HAHA!! But I can tell you for sure that I ain't gonna cry!! Bluekkkk!!
