Gracie's Choice

Haha! As usual, I was guarding the seats in front of the tv.. Watching the Amazing Race Asia season 2 (well AXN is airing them the whole saturday afternoon)!! Errr.. I think I meant watching Paula & Natasha, Marc & Rovilson, and Vanessa & Pamela wakakaka..

Switched channels during the ads. And I saw -

KRISTEN BELL!!

OMG!

lol. It was a movie in the Hallmark Channel *i think* (channel 702), titled "Gracie's Choice".

The movie was excellent and inspiring!!!! (and I really mean it okay, not just because kristen bell was the main actress XD )

If you don't like "touchy" movies, then this isn't the movie for you. No car-explosion scenes, no sex scenes, no super handsome guys, no sexy hot chics, no zombies, no ghost crawling out of the tv etc..

It's about a teenage girl struggling to raise her 3 young half brothers and a half sister (all having a different dad! imagine her mother.), doing everything she can to keep the children together, as their abusive drug-addict mother was sent to jail.
The main character, Gracie -whom have always taken care of her siblings- decides to take the role of a mother. (duno where the heck the father is.. i missed some front part of the movie thanks to Paula XD ).

It is really sad in the fact that it is based on a true story.. Which means while we sit back and watch our TVs, these kind of things are happening to some ppl in the other corner of the very same world.. o.O

I truly believe that this movie will bring tears to some (but not me, mind you. I am the iron man. wakakka.), and the hardwork as well as determination of Gracie will inspire many more.

I shall hunt for the DVD and watch it again. Wakakaka.
You too, should watch this movie. Err.. I mean, MUST watch!!
