Kinda frustrated.
My mom kept nagging me to go online and look for scholarship, cos now we're moving and our financial situation is a bit tied up.
I've asked my parents if I should apply for JPA, as a few of my friends got it.
My dad said no need.
Now they ask me to apply for it =.=''
Then my mom asked me to find private and non-contract scholarship.
She keep on saying that Astro got offer scholarship for medicine. I said don't have, she dont believe me. Media Arts and Computer Science and all those got la.
I feel as if I'm a burden to the family.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the course.
But perhaps it would have been better for everyone if I just take courses like Media Arts or Computer Science or other non-medicine course.
Brr.

media arts or computer science??? isn't that a little.. like the TOTAL OPPOSITE career? but i know how you feel la. sometimes i still think about all the other offer letters i got for different courses and different unis from different countries and wonder what could have been.
ReplyDeleteDon't regret your decision lah . Think about it this way , when you're finally done and you're a doctor , your parents can go around bragging like , "MY SON AH , HE GRADUATE FROM MONASH AS A DOCTOR KAYYYH ?! NO PLAY PLAYYY !"

I think like , you should do something you love doing as compared to something you don't really wanna do as much even if it takes lots of money :)
but isn't it a bit.. selfish to just do whatever you wanted to do, even if it'll cost your parents a lot of money that they can suffocate, just because you "want".
ReplyDeleteanyway i'm not thinking about changing course anyway. and not that my parents couldn't pay for my fees till i graduate.. just that it'll be much better if i can get some support. gotta take ptptn or sth.
and btw i'm sure you would love to visit me if i become a gynae next time lol.
Well , i think it's more worth it when you come out doing something you love more than like doing something you "don't want" to do that cost less :)
